薛寶力（「經典皇牌」）被裁定一項不小心策騎〔賽事規例第100(1)條〕，事緣在趨近五十米處時，他容許坐騎在尚未帶離「怡勝」時向內斜跑，導致該駒勒避及被帶向內跑橫越「愜意小開」(鄭雨滇)應有的跑線，「愜意小開」因而在「怡勝」與「花月春風」之間受擠迫時大力勒避，導致「愜意小開」踢中「花月春風」的後蹄，因而嚴重失蹄。

在此宗事件中，鄭雨滇的雙腳脫出腳踏。跟隨在後的「奪綵奇兵」被「愜意小開」大力碰撞，因而失去平衡。小組判罰薛寶力停賽（三個香港賽馬日）直至六月二十五日星期一才可再次出賽。此項停賽罰則押後至六月十三日星期三跑馬地賽事後執行。此外，薛寶力被罰款二萬五千元，以代替停賽多一個賽馬日。

接近終點時，梁家俊(「較量」)的右邊韁繩脫手。「花月春風」沿途在外疊競跑，沒有遮擋。

被查詢時，柏寶(「花月春風」)說，當他在末段力策坐騎時，他覺得坐騎後肢動作失去平衡，似乎被他駒踢中。

他說，當他覺得有另一駒踢中「花月春風」後蹄的同時，他亦覺得坐騎的左後軀被大力觸碰，導致「花月春風」進一步失去平衡。

他說，由於他不知道當時他後面發生何事，加上「花月春風」的動作顯著有變，因此他左右張望，以圖確定「花月春風」後軀被撞的原因。

他又說，鑑於「花月春風」的後肢失去平衡，加上他不知道「花月春風」動作失去平衡的原因，因此他在末段未有力策坐騎。

小組告知柏寶，小經在觀看賽事影片後，接納有關他在末段的騎法的解釋，因賽事影片清楚顯示當「愜意小開」大力勒避及幾乎跌倒時，「花月春風」被「愜意小開」碰撞後軀。

然而，小組告誡柏寶，只要情況許可，他須至少手足並用力策坐騎至終點。
