like the rest of you, and unlike perhaps two or three around us, i have very little memory of my time in Ashavar. Faeren knows what we did, but he refuses to tell me about it- a bit considering we met there. anyways, my perception of the current events are a bit foggy. from what i am aware, one of the Dragon Stones of Aderes is here with us now, and that has caused the start of the long coming war. i would need to check the legends to be exact on its name. Sentinels of one Ma'ar have been coming and going for several years, but some of them have been freeing themselves- one of them prooves to be one of the origional twenty or so, the other turned out to be an Avatar as well as one of Ma'ar's right hand men... not to mention my Rider, to which i am gratefull to have found before my time ran out. aparently, the origional Sentinel has come to claim the Dragon Stone that is held by Psyke, that is the only stone to have ever left the Saharian Moon System or Aderes. he also came seeking the Star Light, a relic of the Winter Moon, but it no longer resides here.

so who is Ma'ar? i had the chance to do some research when i was fledging. a half-breed born long ago....

there was a camp there perhaps a year ago and before that took elves, humans, forest creatures, and such. they crossed them with other creatures, mixing this and that. it was actually one of many divisions of the main lab located at the Ashavarian civilization border to the very far south. Myuure-na and Faeren, along with others, were brought to this one because it was more secluded. then as many of you will recall, there was an escape. Faeren was caught right away, and sent back to the Moon System. Myuure-na was 'killed' and revived as one of the enslaved Sentinels, but as an earlier one, lacked the perminant mind set of a slave. so she has been helping us, like a few of the origionals. Faeren, who was not killed, just became a Sentinel physically. had he been killed and restored, he would not be an Avatar today. the creatures coming at the hill now are a combination of Sentinels both alive, and technically deceased. the only difference is the coils in the eyes.

back to Ma'ar. a half-breed of demon and elf. he was, coincidentally, created from the DNA of Arafin, and given life by spirit energy from Luce. both of them were held at one time or another by the labs. he went utterly insane after his sister left for the Broken Towers. he went to the Summer Moon, and over threw it. everything living on that particular moon was turned into a Sentinel. he slowly began taking over bits of other Moons, but was unable to take the crowns of any of them. even the one on the Summer Moon is still proteced. he wants the kingdoms so that he may release a seal around a sacred portion of Aderes, where he will be able to use the stones he is collecting to take control of the entire Moon System. however, he needs all of the 14 Dragon Stones first, plus the new one from HawkWind which he does not yet know about.

however, he is also on a quest to gather creatures to make Sentinels. that was the other reason he came here, to gather people from our world to be placed in his army or executed in his arena's. i have spoken to one of the kinder creatures at the bottom of the hill to get an updated list of whom he wishes to take. if you must know, feel free to ask, but if you do not, i would prefer it remain silent.
