His placid eyes flicker in something akin to anger. How dare she tell him what to do. Despite the fact she was a goldrider, thus having authority over him, but she wasn't his WeyrLeader. In a satrical way, Basilisk was his WeyrLeader. He didn't, and wouldn't have do do as she said. But she had only asked for the confirmation, so he would remain civil.
"I will give you no guarentees on my activities during my stay in the Renegades, and I don't speak for Aosuth, neither for my flits. They speak for themselves. The only tihng I can promise is that I will remember what you have said and take it into consideration."
And that's all she'd get from him, no matter what she tried. Aosuth looked up at S'sha and spoke directly to her.
