I must say everyone new the time and date of the clan match and the turn out was dissmale! When there is a clan match can everyone please go on icq incase there is probs with one player. i managed to play first game format my comp and install everything in time for the 3rd game. plz plz plz we were well stuck toingt for players and with nearly 13 players in the clan we should have at least 4 players playing and 2 reseve. I know i am not clan commander but i think this should be implemented to save the russing around and confussen that was cussed tonight. If you cant make a match plz tell us on that day so we can reul you out cause we need to know. I know that 56k modems pay thier toll these dayz (me being recently converted) but even so 56k is better than a no show. I MUST KNOW WHO IS THISS IN THIS CLAN and who singned up for the sake of it. IT is a fun clan yes but when a game is arranged more than 8 dayz ago and yet only 3 members are there to play something is wrong. I am not bothered if u aren't. I will simply not arrange games for us to play. Soz if I seem a little bitchy but this is the way i feel. Me + Ulukin live in the same house and due to a virus only 1 comp was running. Then we had to re format the other comp in order to get on with the game. the total time for the clan game was near 3 hrs THHHRRRREEEE !!!!!!! HRS!!!!!!!!!!! even then it ended up 3 v's 3. Untill I can see some commitment tothe clan I shall not be arranging any more clan matches. We need at least 1 if not 2 reserves and if this cannot be done then the TDB OFP will cease to tun. The TDB name carries with it honesty + time keeping. So we will have to look into this before arranging another clan match; Well done to the following; TDB_Busen TDB_Pickles TDB_MDH TDB_ULUKIN all of which managed at some point to participate. But (and I say this for all 56kers) even though the connection with a standard phone modem is dodgy it seems we really need to look into the deeper depth of hosting.......for example.......... When I was on AOL (They suck but not that bad) I hosted a game where me Buesen and 1 or 2 others had no lag. By the same token I hosted a game and Jekar + Ulukin had no lag. all but Busen at the time had BB. We must look into this and find a solution. Trust me there is one out there and I have a sneeky suspicion it has sommit to do with the spec of the hosts comp (as mine is pretty high) In closing for now I would like to say this.......... Even if you have a 56k connection you are still verymuch valued in the clan. What got me was the lack of response to a previous message in this forum RE. Mondays game. And if you are called upon to atten SOD the other side if we pass the lag test. A laggy 4th player is FAR FAR FAR better than 3 vs 4. Even if that player keeps lookout on our own flag. more from me later but for now keep it up what ever the connection and if u have the chance to upgrade trust me!!!!!!!!!!!! DO IT!!!!!! I wouldnt go back.... I know some cant at mo but it will happen cos it is the way forward for any ISP and they will (in 36 months) be fighting so hard for it you wont be able to chose from all the ISP's offered :) Peace out.........
