Subject: Edelbrock Heads-need info for proper exhaust

I have installed Edelbrock 202 Performer RPM Aluminum Heads on my 1972 Chevy Nova 350 engine. They came with straight plug holes. I have installed some inexpensive Hedman Headers. My problem is - no room for spark plugs and wires on several cylinders. I did install the shorty plugs, but still have 3 cylinders that I cannot get enough clearance to keep from burning the plug wires.

I have purchased Hi Temp Wires - I have purchased sleeves that go over the plug wires. But I still cannot keep from burning off the wires.

My question is: Do I need to replace the Hedman Headers? If so, what headers do I need to purchase that will best fit the Heads????

I want to have a fast Nova - I have purchased many Items, but still need additional ignition parts, intake manifold, and Carburetor.

I appreciate any info you may have.

Thanks,

Craig
