I believe that there are situations where we just cannot get clients to suitable employment, but I'm concerned about what their recourse would be; there are certainly ethical questions here that need further exploration. I'd be interested to hear feedback from others on this issue. As far as the timing of statutory changes and our knowledge of them, I would propose that we request from the DOL to have continued/ongoing representation in discussion of any proposed changes to VR. I feel that our representatives to the task force have done a great job so far of sharing information between the DOL and the VR community and in the process have presented proposals which would provide services more efficiently and cost effectively which was one of the major purposes of the task force.
