First of all, we are talking about it because you continue to reply to it. You are just as guilty as we of keeping the conversation alive.

I like to write passionately about these things. Thus, the maiming of god! :)

You really seem to miss my point with every post I make, so I guess it should behoove me to not post on this subject again. Your arguments are founded on ether and have no basis past the feelings you attribute to them. If my posts about unconditional love have not made sense to you, then I don't know what more I can say. If you really think that living a life believing you are imperfect, unpure, and needing constant forgiveness is to be esteemed over thinking highly of one's self and believing that all things are possible and that life is not a test where the failures go to hell, then be my guest. We were just trying to allow you to see that there are many other options in the world. Christianity is not the only religion, and your god is certainly not the only god. What of the poor little bushman who knows nothing of your beloved Jehovah? Naturally the Christians have invented some vague dogma to answer this question, but the fact remains that God, in all of his wisdom, prescribed knowing him and repenting to him as the one ticket to heaven, then forgot to tell everyone about it. By all reckoning the Christian god is an imbecile in need of a better plan.

I will end this by quoting an author I no longer remember, though it may have been Einstein:

"It is ridiculous to believe that there is no god, but still more ridiculous is it to believe your god is the only god."
