Actually George Lucas IS filming new scenes to add to episodes 4 - 6. Jimmy Schmidts has said he has filmed some scenes for A New Hope already. The rumor includes the dissolution of the senate will be had in Episode 4 now, and this will include.. you guessed it Jar Jar.

There is also some indication you will see the "New Senate" in Episode 6 with.. Amadila showing up.. and Jar Jar again.

So -- the horror that is Lucas' messed up mind is going to make itself known.
