Ostensibly, Z71 trucks are equipped with a off-road suspension package. I am a Ford Driver and the webmaster for DOE, but as it was explained to me, Z71s have heavier , better shocks, a skidplate standard, and a high capacity air cleaner. Destin (the founder) and the rest of the Guys can expound on this more. If we can answer any other questions either e-mail us... or POST here.
