Subject: What kind of lugs do youze guyz like? more...

For snare drums I think you need a double lug on a wooden drum due to the high tuning. I like the tube lugs because or the minimal shell contact but they're getting so common now that I'm looking for something else. The DSH bridged lugs look pretty cool. Has anyone out there used these or found anything similar? For toms I just like the smallest lugs I can find; AMDrum Parts brass lugs, or Adonis lugs for instance. Anyone make their own lugs? Also have you guys checked out Gaither Drums web site? They make some of the coolest custom drums I've seen. Well, any thoughts, opinions, ideas etc.
