Subject: Experience with part suppliers

Most of us need to buy our parts from other suplliers simply because we do not have the capital to import directly.

My question to you is what kind of service have you experienced with different suppliers?

For example, DSH has some things I am interested in checking out but I have heard that Andy is not a reliable supplier, that he partial ships and never lets you know what is happening. I have also heard that he will sit on an order until he has enough to buy in bulk then he will buy and ship when it comes in.

I have not ordered from DSH yet. Quite frankly what I have heard concerns me a bit. I do liike his selction of lugs and strainers though. I was thinking of buying samples of each and making a display board so customers can select their custom options.

Personnally, I want to be able to make a firm comittment to my customers. If I can't get the parts in a timely fashion, I will look bad in my customers eyes.

Anyone has suppliers they can recommend as honorable? Any comments on any of the part suppliers?
