On torrid day an ebon furred of Ana's line did meet;
An ivory foe with desp'rate plans, a'wand'ring in the heat.
Embittered snarl was met with roar, all claws and blades displayed.
Then simple lines for wish to die... and bloody plans were made.
Both fiery soul and anguished gave a courteous display;
then war broke out between them in the fiery humid day.

With speed to match a lightning strike the Korat hit with tail.
But Lareynx dodged with graceful ease; Atumi's plan had failed.
With fury marking bright teal eyes, the black turned 'round to fight,
and caught her blade within his flank, which slid to left from right.
First blood was spilt, but just as fast; (for timing here was key)
From savage ripping, tearing, jaws; came shocking energy.

A tree of ancients, thick and wide, came falling from this blow.
But as for ivory Larenyx swift, she'd still much fight to go.
Atumi leaped and pinned her down, his sense had known she'd planned;
to form her own power-attack, and gain the upper hand.
So down jaws came - a'ready then, to stop her 'fore she'd start;
But surge of energy prepared did force the two apart.

Before the black had hit the ground, the white leapt to prevail.
Both blades struck home, but white hit chest; while black severed off tail.
Atumi's rage was honed to kill, (again with justly cause),
The Olde Kusani flowing through his tightly clampened jaws.
The Larenyx screamed, her agony was plain through pain-filled sound,
But soon with bite of poisoned fangs; the tables were turned round.

And just before the ground was hit, the Korats eyes grew wide,
and though his wounds were deadly he had sense to hit with pride;
His blade struck flank and pushed away his foe so harshly fought,
And realm of darkness took them both; did warriors fight for naught?
But lo! Though Death's dark claws did drag them 'long it's hellish way,
Lavanians never do give up!

They'll fight again some day.
