Kaete's eyes flashed as the glint of the ancient sword caught her attention, matching the striking thing hue for hue. Now, instead of silver, they were a metallic blue, flecked with slivers of gold.
Her hand was called, as though magically, to her sword hilt, and she momentarily pondered the origin of Kwynn's blade.
No matter, though. Now there were Rokor to fight. She wouldn't stand here a moment longer than she had to.
:It's Rokor, Eliane. Just as we suspected.:

:Then... that means...?:

:Yes, Bondheart. We're going to give those things one hell of a run for their money.:

She smirked to herself at the image of countless Rokor bodys slewn in the battle field.
O', how cynical she'd become!

:You're not as bad as you used to be, Kaete.: the gray's MindVoice interrupted, :I shudder to think of the fate of those beasts were you still as evil as you once had been. I might almos feel sorry for them.:

:Is that so?:

:I said almost.:

Kaete smirked at the comment as even then her hand traced the flawless silver of her blade. She'd given up so much to come on this journey - the love of her life included.
But he was only a memory, now. A faded ghost that hung in the back of her mind and whispered to her on those loney nights...

She growled at her unasked-for reminiscence, and raked a hand through her hair.

"This had better speed up. I'm about to go out there and start the battle myself."

Eliane knew her Bonded wouldn't do that, however, and so remained peacefully standing just outside the Meeting Chamber entrance.
