Trae glanced at the purple from his seat just outside the cavern. Thank you for the warning. I will be careful, he replies seriously, although he wasn't sure if there was any real substance to the warning or if it was just anxiety before the battle. Everyone should be on their guard, he thought. Who could possibly know what would happen?

"No other concerns? Good," Kwynn continued. "If anyone is injured in battle, be sure to come straight back here for healing." He cleared his throat. Now was the time for one of those speeches. One of those inspirational speeches that all great heroes gave before leading their people into battle. Like the ones his father had told him about. He cleared his throat again...

"You all have heard stories of the Rokor," he began, taking a deep breath, "and of the brave men, women, and dragons who fought to defend their island, their home, from the demons of the south -- the heroes who risked their own lives to save those of the ones they loved. Well now it is our turn to take up blade, bow, and flame in defense of our home!" His voice rose in volume as he became more sure of himself. "It is time for us to follow the path of our ancestors and become the heroes of our descendants!" Edyn tossed him his sword and he caught the hilt, swinging it dramatically to the ready. "To battle!"

Almost the entire meeting, Edyn had been glancing at Saleeann, wondering what she could do without flying into certain death. When Kwynn was finished, she trotted over to Altair and whispered to her, "Make sure Saleeann gets some of your potion." Then she maneuvered through the crowd to find Saleeann.

"Saleeann... I want you to hang back during the battle," she said very urgently. "We need you and quick Imelle to help those who are injured and notify someone if a Rokor slips through the defense. Good luck." She rubbed the girl's shoulder reassuringly, then slipped off to find Lillithe...

((*is not sure how this should begin* Uum please post an "arriving" post at the Island South board before you actually begin fighting.))
