((wow this happened a long time ago... but I feel the need to post...))

Kwynn sat grudgingly down in a chair as directed by Sarah, and removed his tunic. The healer prodded his shoulder carefully, inspecting the damage. There was only a yellowing bruise where he had fallen on it.

"Does that hurt?" she asked. Kwynn bit his lip and shook his head. Sarah poked harder.

"Ow!"

Sarah chuckled grimly. "Next time tell me if it hurts!"

"I thought healers were supposed to *cure* pain," Kwynn grumbled. Sarah ignored him.

"You'll be alright, of course, just don't do anything too strenuous for a few days. If it starts to hurt when you move it come and see me. Now let's see your head..." She moved back around to his front and pushed back his brown hair to examine where he had been injured in the Rokor fight so long ago. All that was left was a long, reddish scar. "Good, good, and that'll be gone in a few weeks. The salve really does work."

Kwynn looked a little shocked. "You mean you weren't sure?"

"Well, it hasn't exactly been used in years, so... no, I wasn't sure." Kwynn did not look very reassured, so she continued, "You're alive, right? So nothing to worry about." She gathered up her bag and Kwynn put his shirt back on as she turned to leave.

"Take care of yourself, alright? You're needed here," the healer called back as she left the room.

"Yeah, okay," Kwynn grumbled to himself and tried to make himself comfortable in the armchair without putting too much pressure on his shoulder, and sat there brooding.
