We�ll always love you, 38

Friends forever, never to part,
Forever and always, you�ll be in my heart.
That day you left us, it seemed so unreal,
We held one another, in vain attempts to heal.
We wanted you there, to once more hold us tight,
It was all so sudden, it didn�t seem right.
We sat in the chapel, and told of your life,
The pain we felt, cut through like a knife.
God gave you to us, then took you away,
But our lives will go on... day by day.
Poems and letters and bracelets were made,
To make sure, that in us you stayed.
We think of you often, we know you�re here,
You look down and hold us, through all of our tears.
When we get to heaven, you�ll be at the gate
We�ll love you always, 38.
