There was the clap of wings a rush of air and a thump on the ledge outside the small cave. The purple dragon lowered herself so that her small rider could slip off her shoulder.
I will wait her, the sun is walm She informed Zeno who nodded and entered the cave knowing the dragon was sparing her feelings.
She blinked letting golden eyes ajust to the dim light of the small caven and then begain to move around proding the pile of ash that had once been a fire and stopping by the nook where they had slept. Finally she came to the vine with its large beutiful flowers growing in a patch of sunlight on the cave wall. She ran a flinger over one soft petal then noticers the flower cup Kaven had made laying at the base of the plant. She lifted it gentally turning it so the light caught the delicate patterns of the cup. Leaning back against the wall she slid down till she sat, still staring at the cup. She knew it was too good to be true. A single gold tear ran down her cheek.
