Subject: Just Thinking.......

Do you ever wonder how you would handle this "thing" if you didn't have places like this to go to for support?

Think about it......you'd think that you are the only person on the earth going through this. The doctors never tell us that there are others like us, do they? Rarely do they offer us the support of knowing that we aren't alone.

I know that this sounds kinda silly......but really, I get very little comfort from the information found in books. People like us aren't mentioned much. I keep reading about how the MRI has helped so much to speed up the diagnosis of MS. Yeah right!!

What about us?!! Where do we figure into the statistics? I'll tell you where, we aren't counted at all! I know that not all of us are going to end up with an MS diagnosis....but many of us are! It's just a matter of time! So when they say that 10%, 15%, or whatever it is , of the people w/MS were DX with negative MRI I just wonder how much larger that percentage would be if those of us in Limbo who actually have MS were DXed. Do you realize that 10% of the people with MS in the US could fill Dodger Stadium? That's how many people have MS with neg MRIs!

Yes, I do have a life....I've just been thinking too much!

Thanks for listening.
