.the subtle timbre of my serrated pedestals against the austere clay resounds within my auditory channels; a vacant constituency, this locale. deficient of fellow equuid in their entirety. for the better, i suppose. after all, my self-bestowed "reign" can, for the moment, be overt. 'tis congenial, somehow, to be alone with one's thoughts, monotonous as they may be. like well-oiled machinery i stroll nonchalantly 'bout the dominion; it is colossal, and there is much, for now, to keep me engaged. here-and-there i opt for a few choice samples of umbrage to consume, though i never loiter in the same locality for long. being as i am the sole inhabitor of this terrain, it would do me well to familiarize myself with it. the sultry orb above me is clement on my nether; the zephyrs salubrious on my facade.
