Smiling widely, Matilde allowed Sorcha to snatch up the glowing rock that the mage was holding out. The little girl cooed and clutched it in her little fist, waddling over to her father to show her what she had. "Daa! Look!" Her barely toothy grin beamed up at him, her emerald eyes sparkling. As the little girl addressed her father, Matilde listened with a keen ear to DalNamu's words, though she kept an eye on Sorcha out of the corner of her eye.

"Yes... she is going to be absolutely gorgeous... she has my mother's eyes, and my mother was courted far too much for her own good. Celestin's hair, my skin and my lips... beautiful little girl." Beaming, she laughed at herself. "Then again, even if she had five heads I'd still think she was the most beautiful thing ever."
