Subject: Week of 10-2 thru 10-8

Got Back Fri from the best week in 27 years of PI fishing. Caught a few pups on the south end Sat & Sun , but cleaned their clocks on the north end in the mid week for 2 days and nites,,,,,,,caught and released over 110 reds in the 26 to 30" range with a few in the 36" class. Did this before the word got out. On Thurs and Fri it looked like a Wal Mart parking lot up there. Cut bait and finger mullet worked best. When things slacked up, you cold catch all the black drum u wanted on shrimp. 2 at the time occassionally! Did not seem to be very many drum in the big sloughs during the day. A monster slough just as u get on the beach from the last turtle nest and several other good ones near the 9 MM. Be careful of the big creek and cross near the grass on the north end. Stay off the flats. Jello out there. Good luck to you guys.
