**Reaper remembers the night once again...the carnage was like nothing he had ever seen before...he had yet to see anything like it...and yet somehow he had revealed in it that night. The Dark Lord's gaze goes unfocused...he could almost taste the blood of his enemies again...hear the screams of the others...the screams of not only his victims but his family as well. The haunting laugh of the one who started it...the one who paid dearly for his sins and yet somehow still walked in this realm. The feeling of self loathing and sadness overwhelmed the Reaper...the exact moment he decided that emotions were a weakness...when he disowned his brother...declared his best friend and family dead...when he truely stepped into the state of mind that would turn him into the Lord of Darkness. Shaking visage violently Reaper turns haunted orbs to Nightmare. ** I'll never forget that night. **Masc speaks softly...almost inaudibly. ** After that night I disowned Kane...he was ready to go his seperate way as Heart of Stone anyway. It was an uphill battle to defeat the last ruler of the Darkside but... **Satisfied smirk crosses labrums. ** I did it. Finally, I did it. I guess having served Hell as the Grimm Reaper for a while helped me win that one. **Thoughtful smile crosses features again. Many had wondered how he had gotten the name "Reaper". It wasn't his birth name at all...his parents...though both of the Darkside had not bestowed such a name upon him...no he had earned the name Reaper. As a youth he had easily and happily balanced play with his friend and brother with training in Hell...working alongside the Prince of Darkness himself...fetching souls for him whenever necessary...becoming the Grimm Reaper. Even now he sometimes fought for souls for his former master...though he no longer considered the Prince of Darkness his master or Lord he did consider him a very strong and much needed ally. Oh how he had loved those days...but now...well it seemed life was gettiong even better for him...he ruled the Darkside, had a stunning mate and co-ruler, his brother and best friend had returned to him. ** Hell, all we need is to get you a mate Nightmare...then I think life'll be perfect. **Burly masc smirks...he would work on that in time. ** But that'll be easy...I mean who can resist the beta male of the Dark Lord's territory? **Labrums curve upwards...he had found the right stallion to help him out...none of his minions were strong enough or cunning enough to be Beta...but Nightmare...he had more than enough in both areas. **
