In Nicholas's bedroom, in the morning
Ruby opened her eyes and glanced around. Nicholas was sleeping beside her. She gently touch his white hair and his face.
"He is so calm and sweet when he asleep" she thought. She watched him closely and smiled at him. Suddenly Nicholas opened his eyes
"Did you finish looking at me?" he teased with a smile on his face. Ruby gave a slightly hit on his shoulder. Nicholas was laughing, he hugged Ruby into his arm, and tighten her
"Nicholas: you know what, I will never let you go again"he said. Ruby took his arms off her
"Ruby:yeah, but don't forget I'm a black seagull, I can fly away from you any time I want"she said. Nicholas grabbed her and hug her again. He put his face on her face
"Nicholas: yeah, but I'm a white woft, I will bite you and hold you forever. You have no way to escape" he laughed. He was so excite and happy since Ruby came back, that's why he always laughed.
"Ruby: yeah right, a cruel and cold blood white woft" she teased
"Nicholas:No, white woft became soft, and gentle and sweet since it met the lovely black seagull" he answered. Ruby pushed Nicholas away
"Ruby: yeah, right, awww Nicholas, I couldn't take your sweet words no more. Geez you make me melt" she shouted with a smile on her face
"Nicholas: yeah, but I know you like it"he looked at her with his mischievous eyes
"Ruby: no, i don't, you see goose bumps were growing all over my body" she said. Nicholas was smiling at her, Ruby smiled back. Suddenly she remembered something
"I sent Tum tum to you. Where is he? I haven't seen him since I came here" she asked
"Nicholas: oh, he will be home soon, I ordered my guards to bring Tum tum to the amusement park. I told them not to be home until morning, so he should be home soon" he answered. Ruby and Nicholas jumped of the bed. Ruby and Nicholas changed the clothes and walked down stair.
"Ruby: did you tell him that you are his father?" she asked. Nicholas put his arm around Ruby's shoulder, and smiled
"Nicholas: my lovely black seagull ordered me not to tell him, so I didn't dare say a word about it" he teased. Ruby poked her elbow into Nicholas's stomach
"Nicholas: are you gonna tell him?" he asked. His heart was beating very fast
"Ruby:yeah, cause I think he should know the truth" she said. They walked down to the kitchen, Grace were waiting for them.
"Ruby: who is she?" Ruby whispered
"Nicholas: her name is Grace, I saved her last time, she didn't have any place to stay , so I let her stay in my house" he whispered back
"Ruby: Is she your little lover?" Ruby teased.Nicholas stared at him, he pretended to be mad. Ruby smiled
"Ruby: okay, she is your little sister" Ruby said. Nicholas smiled. They walked into the kitchen.
"Ruby: hello, Grace, my name is Ruby" she smiled.
"Grace: you are Nicholas's wife, the one who left him three years ago right" she asked suddenly. Ruby was shocked
"Ruby: yeah, is there something wrong with it?" Ruby asked
"Grace: no, just want to make sure" she said.And she walked up stair. Nicholas and Ruby sat on the chair
"Ruby: ohhh, i see someone is jealous of me. I think she fell in love with you" Ruby teased.
"Nicholas: you better stop teasing me, or I will.." he said. Ruby snapped
"Ruby: will what?" she looked at him.
"Nicholas: will kiss so you won't be able to talk anymore" he said
"Ruby: you are such a pervert" Ruby said.
"Nicholas: let's me show you how pervert I am?" he said. He was going to kiss her. But Tum Tum ran inside
"Tum tum: mommmmmmmmmmmmm" he shouted in happy. Ruby raised on her feet and ran toward him. He ran into her, and hugged her. Ruby hugged him and asked
"Ruby: do you miss me?" she asked
"Tum Tum: i miss you deeply mom, I miss you more than anything in the whole world"he shouted. Ruby was so surprised, who taught Tum tum to said all of those words. Nicholas was smiling.
"Ruby: wow, that is so sweet, I miss you so much" she smiled. Tum Tum let go of Ruby, and held her hand. Ruby and Tum Tum walked toward Nicholas. Ruby bent down and asked Tum Tum
"Do you want to know who your father is?" she asked. Tum Tum looked at Ruby and then at Nicholas. Nicholas's heart was beating very fast. He was waiting for an answer. Tum Tum smiled at Nicholas and at Ruby.
"There is no need to" he said. Nicholas and Ruby were shocked
"WHy not?" they asked.
"because I already knew who he is" he said. He ran to Nicholas and hugged him.
"DADDYYYYYYYYYYY" he shouted. Nicholas hugged him, and carried him in his arm.The happy tears were rolling on Nicholas's eyes
"Son" he smiled. Ruby was smiling too.Suddenly Ruby's asked
"How did you know that he was your father? I didn't tell you anything about it.And why didn't you say anything about this?she asked.
"Tum Tum: because my Black Seagull didn't allow daddy to say it, he was afraid of Black Seagull, and I'm afraid of her too. So I didn't dare to say anything" he answered. Ruby took Tum Tum off Nicholas's arm and tickled him
"How dare you to tease your mother?" she smiled. Tum TUm was laughing
"Nicholas: but how did you find out that i was your daddy?" he asked.
"Ruby: oh yeah, how?" she stopped tickling him. Tum Tum held Ruby and Nicholas's hand. He walked them upstair toward Nicholas's room
