.Actually, nowhere in the entry form/information sheets did it say Arkansas Cinderella does not give scoresheet/comments/critiques. It was the first time I have ever taken my DD to a pageant that did not provide any feedback.....and it will be the last. Hard lesson learned. My DD won beauty and a round crown and there is nothing wrong with that, BUT there is something wrong with expecting a child to move up to the international level without them (or their parents) knowing how they got there in the first place. I talked to Fred and he said if there is an ugly, fat, girl competing, with terrible clothes; should they tell her she is ugly, fat, and has terrible clothes? There is a thing called constructive criticism and that is better than saying, "Oh, you should come to internationals. Just because you didn't win a state, doesn't mean you won't win at internationals. Give it a try." $$$$$$$ Also, I think they throw in a few "token" average Janes to lure newbie moms into thinking, "Wow, look at that kid! My kid is so much prettier, I will have to enter her in this pageant if that is the best competition they have!" They got me. Don't tell me it is not a surprise, because I will fax you a copy of all of the information we received for state and prove you wrong.

- It doesn't matter if you prepare or not. That's the answer. Those who are going to do well will do so because of who their Director is or to have a geographic balance.
