For those of you interested :
The original Marine Flugpark was stationed at Vlissegem airfield. Koolkerke was just a part of it. Transport was done between both depots by using the canals Brugge-Zeebrugge and Brugge-Oostende. Koolkerke was connected to the canal to Zeebrugge by rail. Found no proof that this was also the case at Vlissegem. Probably transport happened by road from the airfield to the canal to Oostende and there was made use of the installations of the ammunitionsdepot at Stalhille near the canal.
