You were right with the Muansa 5408 brt.
Here are some more details:
30.08.20 Leaving Montevideo and towed to Hamburg for repair.
14.08.21 Handed over to England.
27.09.21 Bought back by DOAL
06.03.40 Troopship by occupation of Norway
27.05.40 Out of service
05.08.40 Put into service again as R36 for planned occupation of England
04.08.42 Put out of service from german Navy
01.01.43 Torpedoed by russian sub L20 near Hammerfest.
But back to my problem.
I'm looking for information about the trip from Lüderitzbucht to Rio de Janeiro.
