Subject: German WW I tanks Author: Johan Ryheul [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 11:34:19 07/01/02 Mon Hi, Does anyone have any specifications or other information on the Horch Panzerwagen or tank, construceted by August Horch, the Benz Bräuner Panzerwagen and the Oberschlesien Assault Tank of the Oberschlesische Hüttenwerke ? This concerning a new photobook I'm preparing on WW I tanks. I'm also interested to know if the Marinekorps or Kaiserliche Marine ever did use some tanks, possible Beutewagen (such as Mark IV) or other Panzerwagen. An old, now deceased German matrose from a coastal batterie at Ostend once told me that he had seen a Mark IV tank used by the Marinekorps Flandern or being tested, this was not clear to me.
