Subject: Dummy naval batteries at Flanders coastline Author: Johan R [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 06:33:45 07/22/02 Mon Hi, There existed a number of dummy batteries at the coastline of the Marinekorps Flandern. One was to be found between the batteries Aachen and Antwerpen at Raversijde, with four 1865 Warendorff guns, made at Luik (Liege)and an identical one could be found east of Blankenberge named Block batterie. There were also some wooden dummy guns on the Mole of Zeebrugge. However there must have existed other ones at the Flandern coastline. I even have a picture of an unidentified one.
