After the encounter between U93 and the British Q-ship 'Prize', the one in which KL Edgar Freiherr Spiegel von und zu PeckelsheimZiegner took the boat back to Emden despite a desperate amount of damage.
Nearly all sources claim that he was decorated for his epic voyage. Unfortunately, none of them say what it was. It certainly was not the PlM nor, apparently, a variety of the Hohenzollern Order. A EK1 seems inadequate as most First Watch Officers collected that in due course.
Does anybody have the information, P;ease contact me direct if possible.
