 By the way, I saw a picture today in a newspaper of a new zeppelin being made ready for shipment to the USA. It said "Maiden flight" that took off "yesterday" [on May 21st, 2008?] in Friedrichshafen for shipment in the fall (Herbst). The new owners will be Airship Ventures in Moffett Field, California, USA.
..... Did Zeppelins ever have any connection with the Kaiserlichen Marine at or about WW1? Or was it a part of the Luftwaffe?
