brujo hangs back behind the other steed::knowing he would use his energy for the end::thorns laced against cranium::optics steady gaze upon target ahead::limbs scraping the harrowed surface::ripping pieces of dirt and sand upwards::moving to the other steed's side::glance is shot towards him::moving steadily along side him::

(can we pretend it's a race oval)
(I know how they look and how they are shaped)

thorns laced against poll::strides lengthen::taking the first, second, and third turn with ease::then approaching the final turn::taking it quickly and easily::then coming up upon the backstretch::strides lengthen::this was the end::backstretch was four furlongs::passing the other brujo easily::soon two lengths ahead and two furlongs done::soon thru with the third furlong then the fourth::moving over the finish line with ease::rearing `pon haunches::deep clarion escapes muzzle in triumph::optics glancing at the other brujo::landing softly `pon terra::dial tossed::barely tired and full of himself::

*Steed stays with Flight through the rest of the turns..Once rounding the fourth energy is released..Chase gives him all the reins and Rookie bursts forward..Pedates lash at the ground and strides lengthen..He keeps up with Flight..Never letting him infront of him..Laces pin back and steed flys under the finish line..Chase pulls him to a stop..He then taps his side and walks him around in some circles..*
