The dark one entered slowly, one hoof placed in front of the other, each step cautious and thought out. Her eyes roved about slowly to check for any threat. Perked ears swivelled about atop her head attentive to every sound about her.

Nightmare wasn't nervous just being ready since she didn't know what to expect. Her head tilted to the side as she bent her head to sniff at some of the surrounding shrubberies, eyes still watchful. Her nose could pick up the scents of others, many, many others that had come before her.

Her mind began to wonder just a little bit about the wise one just who was Dreamspeaker before she became the neutral highest being in this land to whom all creatures either looked up to or feared. She snorted carefully. Astronomer and Atticus' mother perhaps? Grandmother? That would be an interesting twist. Odd it was how a mare ruled this land instead of the normal stallion. The males were the territorial ones. Perhaps the females had the more brains to keep order. She chuckled. The wise one must have seen many males to challenge her and she bested them with wits and cunning. Jeshia would have enjoyed seeing that greatly.
