The bird watched the two for a moment, it's cruelly curved beak meant for tearing flesh parting to draw a breath before it swooped down out of the tree, wings flaring out as it slowed in its descent toward them talons outstretched. The bird landed on her shoulder, talons lightly flexing enough to hold and be felt but not break the skin. The eyes looked toward Alyssa regarding her, beak very close near enough to strike if need be. The bird didnt' seem to care that the unicorn couuld attack it from behind. Its flames flickered on its feathers lightly.
