Sorry for not posting earlier! I've been busy with Programming for Scientists, and in all honesty I'm typing this whilst flicking through my week 7 notes..... that's right, I've only just started reading the notes, and no, I've not done any java before!
[INFO] Right then, we now have an IRC server up and running at the following IP: 10.1.3.160 , the channel name is #wgn - the server normally runs from 10am - midnight.
I'd like to organise a game sometime in the next week, maybe a Quake 3 again, or even better.... how about Unreal Tournament - Assault is good with lots of players so tell your mates!
I've been trying to find webspace that supports users own cgi scripts, and that I can upload to from Uni, and that it's free, and..... no that's all I need from it! Once that is got, we can set up a "proper" forum, and have details of servers etc and the times they're running on the web page as well. ANyone signed up for s5 next weekend??? I didn't sign up quick enough and I'm probably busy next weekend anyway.
(!) How about we all meet up in one of the gaming sessions on a Friday and/or Saturday so we can put some faces to the names? I like to know it is I'm killing!!! I've never been to one of the seesions before, but we can give it a go! Find out more at the CompSoc website, under the socials link....
Anyway, who wants what and when??? (After Wed please please please... Prog for Sci. is going to take a while!)
