This is no angle. They are mentioning it on the air because they had no other choice. This is not the mid 80s where wrestlers could just disappear and be forgotten about. Austin was the biggest star in WWF history, so they had to give explanatiun for his absence.
At the moment I have no plans to put together an Austin compilation. I work around 45-50 hours a week at my day job, then I have this whole video business to run, plus I actually have a life as well. But if anyone wants to put together a good compilation, I would be very grateful (to the tune of a couple of free tapes!) to receive a copy. For the ultimate Austin compilation, dont forget to include some WCW stuff (War Games cage match, plus at least one Hollywood Blonds match) and some ECW stuff (just the promos, the matches were no good).

And by the way, Austin has finally proved once and for all that he is a total piece of shit. All wifebeaters are complete scum. For this alone, I really do hope that Austin's wrestling career is over.
