Quality: Good. Comments: The biggest angle in history, and the best of the 1990s. When Scott Hall burst into Nitro and said, “We’re taking over”, that was it. That set the stage for Kevin Nash to appear and wreak havoc on WCW. When Hogan turned heel, they were on FIRE. In my opinion, this was the hottest angle, most talked about angle in history. Sadly, though, this was to be WCW’s really last great thing they did. Still, NWO were the biggest thing going, ANYWHERE in 1996.

Quality: Good. Comments: At this point, the WCW and NWO were on a full-scale war, thanks to the Outsiders. Now come the newest members to wreak havoc: Dibiase; Giant; Syxx, and Vincent all join the group to raise hell. Some really great moments here, as the NWO at this time (1996) were THE THING GOING during the Monday Night Wars. Eric Bischoff and WCW were being outnumbered by the NWO, and there was no way to stop it. Hall, Nash and company just wreak havoc on this tape. Some amusing things on here as well, like when they take over the broadcast booth, and the NWO Nitro, which is very amusing.

Quality: Good. Comments: After building an Empire, the next thing you do is to take over the place, and that is what they do here. Even Bischoff joins the group. The group was on FIRE at this time, and would they appear to be breaking up? Not on your life. Sadly though, the group did break up in 1998, and marked what was at the time, the most hottest angle in wrestling. I still reckon that it was probably the best of all-time, however many may feel it was the Hart Foundation and the stuff that they did.
