I just read this in Architectural Digest the other day. Already went on Pollaro's website (who is based in NJ) and registered to attend the showroom event for the unveiling of the furn. It's Tues the 13th, of course it was immediately booked solid, i registered for Wed for now (it's a 3 night event) but will try to sneak in on Tues, since i have a feeling that's when Brad might make an appearance there.
Cant say i love all the pieces, the bed is probably the coolest one, really like it. And side tables too, the chair i can do without :) The prices for these things are astronomical, i think that Pollaro guy said it was in the ballpark of $45K for a chair and i dont even know how much that bed would run. Of course when there are only 9 beds made and similar single digit quantities of everything else, it does make sense why it's that expensive (although, honestly, $45K for a CHAIR? 30K of that is clearly just because it has Brad's name attached to it, ugh!)
Which pretty much means i can never specify it for any client, ever LOL Until they start a mass-produced line, that is, which Pollaro claimed will be their next step.....
Wish me luck ,hopefully Brad will be there next Tues (even though they dont make any mention one way or another if he will be but it's his line, i am sure he'll show up) Will report back once i go :)
