Oh I did put my foot down when my kids were little. Now, he can buy whatever he wants, I do. If it makes him feel better to own a gun I am not going to tell him what to do. I can't say i would ever touch it but if someone was beating me or one of my dogs, (which is unlikely,my dogs are beasts and would rip anyone apart that laid a hand on me. lol) I might use it. Although I have never shot one in my life and if someone pisses me off enough that i would consider shooting them, I would say my tiger claws would be more than enough to bring them down.

My hubby is in survival mode. We are prepared if anything bad should happen that we can't get food or water, he has our pantry stocked. He is in Marine mode with all this bad stuff happening. That and Ryan, Rachels husband is a huge gun enthusiest. They for sure have that in common. He respected my requst for years when the kids were little, I told him this year to just go buy what he wants.I told him the only way it would really work against him is if I ever found him in my bed with another woman, that might make him in great danger but like i said, with my tiger claws, i doubt I would need a gun. lol

I bought hubby a dvr security system for Christmas so there is little chance that anyone would get away with anything in these parts. This thing records 24/7 and has night vision and he can watch what is going on at home from his cell phone. Amazing the electronic's they have out in this day and age. I don't even use a cell phone yet so I have some catching up to do with technology. My kids laugh because I call their cell phones and I am the odd ball and they always know it's me because everyone else texts them. They laugh and tell people my mom doesn't know how to text. :-)
