Brad Pitt won't ask George Clooney for advice on turning 50.

The 48-year-old actor is approaching the milestone age but has no plans to ask his close friend for tips on how to cope when he turns 50 because he believes there is nothing he can learn from George, who turned 51 in May.

He jokingly told the new issue of People magazine: ''He's too old, we live different lives. What can he tell me? Other than how to protect my liver.''

He said: ''This is what I think about it, it's like, 'OK you're way over the midpoint. You don't know how much time you have left. Make sure you enjoy the year more than ever. I want to make sure I'm doing things of value - that mean something to me. Make sure I'm doing things I've always wanted to try. And make sure I'm not doing things I don't want to do. Because I'm very conscious of time, I know it's limited.''

Eww a slam against George and his heavy drinking. George is all Hollywood, that is one big thing I don't like about him. Did you see him at the GG? He was right at home with that crowd and he looks oh so foolish with that young girl on his arm. She makes him look so old.

I feel so sorry for all of them,Brad included. They have to go to such great lengths to pretend that they are happy. An image is a dangerous thing, that reflection stands in their way of finding true happiness and being who they are. An image disolves after they are gone and they end up wandering around eternity without a clue of who they should or could of been.
