Welcome, Boff!! :)

Did you guys see the movie yet? I decided to wait till this past weekend to see it because opening weekends crowds are typically nuts. Saw it on Sat and i really must say, it wasn't as bad as some of the reviews make it out to be. I actually enjoyed it, it's not an Academy award type of movie but its entertaining and i thought Brad really carried the entire thing on his shoulders. There is a strength in him, the hero role is really fitting. He hasn't done this type of blockbuster in such a long time and it looks good on him. I really liked the family being the heart and the vulnerability that Brad's character displayed. I am surprised it took many reshoots and much controversy to get to this point because overall i thought the movie addressed everything really well and left room for sequel, which i do hope they do :)
there were a few (most likely unintentionally) comedic moments with the zombies (why do their zombies sound like prehistoric dinosaurs? LOL) but i also liked the fact that it wasn't terribly bloody, i hate movies and TV shows about zombies precisely for that reason. Here you truly can take kids under 13 to see it and it's totally acceptable....

What did you think of it, Gina?

Myst
