I don't think it effected everyone as much as it did New Yorkers. In watching the recap of it, that huge monster of smoke that over took the city. The sadness in the eyes of the people and the surviving firemen. I really felt the great emotion. Of course it effected all of us but New Yorkers are the ones who kept the spirit of their city alive. Truly amazing. Watching those towers fall to this day makes my heart fall into my stomach. Knowing all the brave firemen and women and workers who lost their lives in that moment. The terrorist lost that day, united we stand, home of the brave was proven.
