Upon acceptance, you will need to send in the $30 parent door fee and the $15 t-shirt fee within 10 days. If you are using PayPal or paying by credit card please include a 4% processing fee. Boys Age Groups: 0-12 mos, 13-23 mos, 2-3 yrs, 4-7 yrs
I will only accept 10 per age group. You will be put on a waiting list after 10 contestants accepted. Should there be several to request the same age group, I may split the age group. (i.e., 3-4 age group would be split to 3 yrs for first group and 4 yrs for 2nd group). This is for all age groups.
For the 0-6 months, if you are expecting a baby and wanting to enter your new baby, go ahead and send your information. A few people have emailed me saying they are expecting in April and two in May and they wanted to be in the pageant. They are sending in their name on April 1st and the expected age or birthdate. If they are selected, then upon their birth they can send in the name, age, and exact birthdate.
The competition will include Beauty and Patriotic Wear/RWB Wear. No photogenic. This is for both Sunshine and Starshine.
I will be awarding huge beautiful crowns at both pageants (4" to 10" crowns) to winners. Plus, Patrioic Themed Monogrammed Sashes, Fantastic Gifts, and CASH!!!! THIS IS AT BOTH SUNSHINE AND STARSHINE!!!!
If you do not get in the first 10 accepted, your name will go on the waiting list. When the waiting list reaches 8 names in your age group, I will add another age group. If for some reason someone accepted does not send in their $45 within 10 days, you will be notified as to your acceptance.
For those that remember, Sunshine had boys for several years, but stopped due to not enough contestants to pay for age groups. I will have the following age groups for boys, but if I don't get the 10 in each age group I will combine the boys. 0-12 months, 13-23 months, 2-3 years, 4 - 7 years
If there are two contestants from each family, they will both have to buy a door badge. There are no sibling discounts and every contestant will have to purchase a $30 door badge. These door badges can be used for fathers, grandparents, other family or friends.

Deen really hates having to change the date and location but as you all know Leon has had many health issues lately and has to have yet another surgery and this surgery date and the pageant date are conflicting with one another. Leon's surgery date is set for March 26 which is 2 days before the pageant was set. Deen would rather change the location and date instead of canceling the pageant all together. We paid in full for a pageant in Carrolton Kentucky in February 2008.
Leighann called us the night before and advised the pageant would be cancelled due to low entries.
Leighann advised me we could use our paid pageant fees to her next pageant for Easter.
We arrived at the Easter Pageant, we were the only ones there. Dressed and ready and Leighann was no where, the hotel in Carrolton KY did not receive any notifications of a cancellation.
Leighann finally returned our phone calls and told us she had sent a cancellation notice the night before by tv email. (we didn't receive the email).
Leighann said we could come to the pageant the following day, which was in Lexington KY.
I became very ill and admitted to the hospital. We didn't make it to her pageant in Lexington.
Leighann promised a refund due to the situation. She said to wait for our refund when she has the state pageant.
The state pageant has come and gone. Leighann has told me on 5 different phone calls that the money order for my refund (which was promised to be returned) was in the mail. Obviously no money order.
