I recentely recieved you latest newsletter. Inside I was suprised to find that you are thinking of not having a 2002 "Convention at the Capital", and instead taking the year off. Another idea was given about maybe having a 1-day Convention. While this is better that no convention, please reconsider. Year after year you have always provided exceptional talent and amazing headliners. This has made the "Convention At The Capital" a yearly tradition for many magicians. The convention now has taken on a life of it's own, built on 3 magical days of jamming, coupled with regular year after year attendance. All of this has created an intimate vibe that surges throughout each convention and this is now one of the biggest streangth of the convention. I would like to thank you for helping create this, but please don't break this amazing tradition, for I am scared some of it's magic may be lost. So this year if the "big names" can't be booked, don't worry because "The show must go on!"

Sincerely,
Eric Kayser
