the cliff-sided valley is a small, bowl shaped valley, snuggled between two weathered mountains. one side of this valley is a sheer drop, a steep wall of granite, and mixed amongst the gray rock are small studs of quartz. this little hollow is small, but fairly lush: green/blue grasses carpet the floor, and a small stream trickles noisily out of a gap in the cliff, fed by some sub-terrainian river. it runs down the cliff face and collects in a small fish-on sunny days, one can see carp darting beneath the surface.there is one open meadow, but most of the realm is heavily wooded. the trees are mostly redwood trees, and wide-spread..when one walks beneath them, it almost seems as if you are in a cathedral, tall, high, and muffled. during spring and summer, red poppies grow knee high in the meadow. all in all, the realm is picturesq, though on foggy mornings it can become slightly eerie.
