It was a game of cat and mouse, who had ever heard of a mouse beating a cat? And with the death eaters playing 'cats' it seemed everything was going their way. As Amilie stepped from the shadows she did not step alone, The death eaters had been congregating together with their master when their little spy had sent word to her Father, telling him the party of do-gooders had arrived at the ministry and it was time to attack. So the dark lord had sent in his best to do the dirty work. Lex's crude laugh rang through the hall, his eyes lingering on the veil through which Remus and Harry had just dissappeared, it was of course them who Voldemort held his real grudge with. This little people before him were just imps in his way, although his master had told him that to knock off an Auror or two would be very nice indeed. Paikea didn't even bother to feign surprise at her Father's appearence, she waved amicably and winked so unsubtly it would have made any by standers gape in surprise. Lex simply laughed even harder.

"That's it Amailie, you have your fun, your little games. But don't wait too long, we have bigger fish to fry."

From beneath the death eater hooded cape that he wore Lex's putrid pale eyes gleamed malevolently, flashing over the crowd of kiddies and the feet hanging out of the veil. He stalked the party, leaving Amailie to her family qualms and enjoying lighting a fear within the kiddy-winks. What did they think they were doing, all trooping in here like it was a big game, wouldn't it have been more sensible if the bear minimum had gone to do the task. If only they had thought of that then the Death Eaters would not be here now mocking them. Foolish Dumbledore-lovers, they made him sick, not as sick as that loved up couple of gays, look at that werewolf, trying to find his poor lover who deserved what he got - filthy blood traitors. And ickle harry tryign to save the only family he ever had. Oh Lex was going to enjoy this...

He raised his wand..

He aimed his wand at the soles of Harry's feet just as Lupins dissappeared, thinking to himself that that was one gone now all he had to do was send Harry into the abyss and his master would reward him beyond his wildest dreams. This would surely thwart that ignorant boy and send him into the shadow world. Then they would deal with these children who remained!
