Subject: Castles In The Sky

I entered the room, my soft footfalls echoing slightly in the almost empty room. There were two others, my yearmate, Ahearn and another girl. She was pretty, but I wasn't bisexual. I just recognized beauty when there was some. A small smile crossed my face, and I shrugged, striding across the room and digging around in a corner, where I had hidden my things. Hopefully it would not call for much attention. I pulled out my bag, which held my purse, and thus, the essence of every female's living. At least, to me. I was quite girly. I pulled out a compact and my tinted lipgloss, applying the shiny stuff and checking the rest of my makeup. Perfect. No flaws at all, which was good. I grinned softly at my reflection, and snapped the compact shut, my dark green eyes glancing across the room. I scooted backwards, and sat myself onto a table. Not into the chairs, onto the table. I sighed audibly, pulling out a book by an author who I dearly loved. It was a wonderful book, describing the life of a french-orgined vampire who was changed by a slightly psycho vampire...it leaned towards the risque side in some ares, but all in all, it was a wonderful book. This would mark my 10th time reading it, or so I supposed. How many times had I read this book? Ah well. I would manage. I needed entertainment dearly, and right now, my senses needed an escape. So, I stuck my nose in the book and plunged myself into the world of New Orleans Vampiric Society...
