Subject: WHY A 69-72 NOVA

I was just readin the board, and I was wondering how come it has to be a 69-72 nova????????? Us late model nova owners (75-79) never get no respect lol!!!! well here is what is in the works, 78 Nova, 406 ci small block, forged 4340 steel crank, forged I-beam rods, je flat top pistons w/4 valve reliefs, balanced rotating assembly, lunati part# 40119 (jegs) .550 int. .571 exh. solid flat tappet. double roller timing set, melling high volume oil pump,7qt oil pan.

Now for the top, I bought a set of Dart Iron eagles heads, 2.05/1.60 215cc intake runners, crane gold 1.5 roller rockers, and a port matched victor Jr, I haven't got the carb yet nor the ignition because I am still workin on the motor, I haven't really decided what carb I am going to run on her yet still askin and shoppin around. oh almost forgot the rest, race built th350, reverse manual valve body 3500 stahl converter, 10 bolt (8.5) rear 456's, and I think I am going to buy those ssm lift bars not sure yet, So if any of you guys race the same body style as what I am building drop a line and tell me what you did to get your X to pound the pavement, I think she is gonna fly. later, Shawn
