my grandpa passed away 2 years ago. i moved here to arizona and a few months later he would cry to my grandma that he thought he wouldn't see us before he died. we made plans to visit for a few days for his birthday. the night before we left, we got a call from my aunt that he had passed away in his sleep. my sister and i got into my parents bed and comforted eachother. we fell asleep in between my parents. the next day i could hardly bare going to school. after my half day, we flew to washington. It was really hard celebrating his birthday without him being with us. My grandma could barely stay in the room. i heard her crying every night. at his funeral we used up all of the tissues offered to us. i really missed my grandpa. but i am ok now, because he is in heaven. he accepted christ the night before his death. my grandma is still having trouble coping with the fact that he is gone, but she is also comforted byt his fact. i will pray that your grandpa is ok, and when he does go that he goes peacfully.
