In reply to: Rokko and Aidan 's message, "..thanks.." on 12:19:59 08/23/02 Fri

..they returned to the place where Yeata had fallen and stood a moment in silence. Rokko took out a cloth and began to wipe the sweat and blood from his black coat. she removed the arrow from his shoulder, cleaned the wound, and sewed it shut. she did the same with the gashin his neck. when he was clean she began digging a hole right in the middle of the clearing. she worked well into the night, finally gently placing her fallen companions body in its final place. she covered him up, tears making dark spotson the earth. she pulled a small pouch from her side and sprinkled the seeds it held over the mound. flowers would grow there, brilliantly hued like the fire that graced his body. she used stone on stone to make a name plate for him..Yeata: fire hued and battle strong, fallen friend at victory's dawn..now covered in dirt, sweat and blood, she laid her necklace of stone carved into the shape of a running horse on the mound and uttered a last good bye. tears made tracks in the grim on her face. Aidan came close to her and let her lean on her as they walked slowly out of the clearing. both heads hung in sorrow, Rokko mourning the loss of a friend and Aidan the loss of a father..Come, Little Flame, let us join our friends in Lorien.
