Hey all, long time no ummm type. Anyway, I just wanted to voice my opinion on a few NBA related items since JP brought it up. First, I dunno that Mr. Robinson is a sure fire 1st ballot HOF'er. Whatever his career stats end up as, I think it's 5 years before he is eligible, and it's already been about 5 years since he was even consistently in the lineup. For all he's done, I can't help but wonder what he could have done. On the same subject, this is John Stockton's farewell tour as well (supposedly), and unlike Robinson he has played nearly every game that Utah has been in since he was drafted, and he still puts up better numbers than the majority of PG's in the league, young or old. If someone is getting shunned here, I say it's definitely him.
Lastly, I can't make much sense of the Payton/ Mason for Allen/ Kevin Frickin' Ollie trade. Seattle just lost their 2 best defenders, 35 ppg, and what I believe to be a future perennial all-star in Mason, while the Bucks lost a streak shooter who plays no defense and is soft, and 2 castoffs. Last word I heard was the Bucks may also trade Cassell for Sprewell, and if that becomes reality, look for the Bucks to become a top 3 seed.
